Awards for Doctoral Researchers and Recent Graduates

Heidelberger Wilhelm und Else Heraeus-Dissertationspreis für Physik und Astronomie

Prize: Two prizes of €2,000 each
Frequency: annual
Application/Nomination: application or nomination by supervisors possible

Eligibility:

  • Doctorate completed in the previous summer or winter semester

  • Final distinction: “summa cum laude”

  • Maximum two-page accessible summary of the dissertation

Otto-Haxel-Preis

Prize: Three prizes of €6,000, €4,000 and €2,000
