The third Heidelberg Integration Bee took place on 2 June 2026: Seven finalists showed how one solves integrals under competition conditions!
After almost three hours, the winner was Juan Alvarez, who was able to decide the competition in his favour in a thrilling tie-breaker against previous champion Felix Röper. He lifted the trophy into the air while about 300 spectators cheered and applauded.
The faculty thanks jDPG for the perfect organisation of an entertaining competition, including a match between two professors and competition integrals that were provided by famous mathematics YouTubers in video messages.
