High-quality teaching is a key component of a successful physics program. Through regular course evaluations, students share how they experience teaching and highlight instructors who support their learning in particular ways.
The Teaching Award for the Summer Semester 2025 recognizes two lecturers and one tutor who received especially positive feedback from students.
Belina von Krosigk was awarded for her lecture Physics B. Students emphasized her high level of motivation and her ability to convey this enthusiasm. The demonstration experiments were mentioned repeatedly as a positive aspect of the lecture.
Norbert Herrmann was recognized for his seminars on Key Experiments in Particle Physics, which were rated very positively by students.
The award also went to Fabian Willaschek for his tutorials in General Relativity. Student feedback highlighted his strong commitment and student-oriented approach, describing the tutorials as very helpful for understanding the lecture content.
The certificates were presented during the Faculty Council meeting in December. They were handed over by the Dean of the Faculty, Stephanie Hansmann-Menzemer, together with the Dean of Studies, Norbert Christlieb.
We would like to thank the students for their feedback and warmly congratulate all three awardees.
