EMERGING TOPICS IN ULTRACOLD QUANTUM MATTER

The aim of these lectures is to introduce emerging concepts and theoretical methods in the realm of ultracold quantum matter:

 1) From quantum geometry to artificial gauge fields

 2) Floquet engineering: designing band structures and interactions

 3) Topological ultracold matter: from concepts to measurements

 4) Interacting topological matter: Green's function approach

 5) Polarons in quantum gases: theoretical methods


The first lectures will be given by Nathan Goldman (ULB).
Lectures 4 and 5 will be given by Lucila Peralta Gavensky (ULB) and Oriana Diessel (Harvard University).
