Amorphous oxide semiconductors and their applications on flexible substrates

Prof. Dr. Paul Heremans , University of Leuven, BE

In this seminar, we will start with reviewing some fundamental properties of amorphous oxide semiconductors (AOS) (such as mobility, doping, trap states, origin of bias stress instability,....), and the relation with deposition conditions. We will then move on to the technology of AOS, transistors, highlighting which properties make them unique in certain applications. In the final part of the seminar, some example circuits and applications will be discussed.
