DESCRIPTION:Active galactic nuclei (AGNs) are among the most powerful engin
es in the Universe. Understanding\nhow accretion\, obscuration\, and feedba
ck are connected is therefore essential for developing a complete picture o
f black-hole and galaxy evolution. In particular\, observations of individu
al quasars have suggested a possible connection between powerful ionised ou
tflows and unusually weak X-ray emission relative to established mid-infrar
ed–X-ray relations. Testing this connection statistically requires large\,
homogeneous\, multiwavelength samples. In this talk\, I will introduce the
development of the SDSS-V Black Hole Mapper quasar catalogue and discuss th
e analysis presented in Demke et al. (2026). The sample combines optical sp
ectroscopy from SDSS-V with X-ray information from eROSITA and mid-infrared
photometry from WISE. I will then present the extension of this analysis c
arried out as part of my master’s thesis. By increasing the sample size by
about a factor of three and adding X-ray spectral information\, this datase
t enables a more detailed investigation of the relationships between X-ray
 emission\, mid-infrared luminosity\, black-hole mass\, accretion rate\, and
the\nkinematics of ionised gas traced by the [O III] emission line.\n\nImp
